  Simian Mobile Disco once a rock group, went electro pop with their 2007 album “Attack Decay Sustain Release”, and they hope to continue that trend with their next release “Temporary Pleasure” due out August 18th. “I Believe” is perhaps their best song from Attack Decay Sustain Release.   Autotune, a musical Fiasco? 

  Lupe seems to think so. In his new single “Shining Down” he takes aim at autotunes fusion into nearly every hip hop and rap song since the release of F Baby’s “Tha Carter III”.  I have to agree with Lupe, autotune is out of hand and has been officially unoriginal for the last 18 months.  It’s time for hip hop and rap icons to turn their focus back to writing great lyrics, the reason we fell in love with them the first time…
